TATLIN

Tatlin, the iconic piece of furniture produced by Edra and designed by Roberto Semprini, transcends the typical dimensions of a sofa to become a symbol. A manifesto and iconic image of the 1990s, it is a centerpiece sofa characterized by its spiral shape, loosely inspired by Vladimir Tatlin’s tower from 1920. Designed by Mario Cananzi and Roberto Semprini, thanks to its innovative and unconventional design, it adds a touch of creativity and fantasy to any living space. Whether used as a living room centerpiece or in public spaces, Tatlin features an extremely comfortable circular seat that allows for 360-degree enjoyment. The helical structure, a true feat of engineering, is made of molded and shaped steel.

VULCANO

In ancient times, they were known as mountains, and it was only after the eruption of Vesuvius on August 24, 79 AD, which destroyed Pompeii and Herculaneum, that it was understood they were volcanoes. As the poet John Garland Pollard said, “A volcano is a mountain with a stomach ache.”

The central sofa VULCANO, with its gentle profile, invites us to choose the right posture, either reclining like on a chaise longue or sitting as on a regular sofa. A light emanates from its opening, reminding us of its function, but instead of instilling fear, it relaxes.

ULURU

Like the impressive rocky massif from which it takes its name, this sculpture strikes the eye at first glance with its monolithic, polished beauty. Upon closer inspection, one notices its cavities, which provide cozy seating arranged in a circular fashion, much like a carousel. A perfect creation for spacious, airy environments where the view can travel all around.

CHIOCCIOLA

Arredaesse – 1994 | “If I put my hand on the snail of the woods, all the silent wood joined west with the east magnificent, so that ‘begins the spiral of the universe” Mario Merz.
The snail has a house shaped like a spiral that brings with it. The chair “Snail” is wrapped on itself, soft spiral that welcomes you.

MIES

The Mies armchair was created for the redesign of the Barcelona Pavilion by Mies Van Der Rohe for the Abitare il Tempo 2007 event. Its aesthetics combine the soft elegance of the lines with the comfort of the seat. The inspiring idea behind the design is to suspend the seat above the floor.

JOKER

Joker is a lounge chair that embraces, thanks to its soft and enveloping padded shell, keeping you comfortably suspended in mid-air. It features a satin-finished stainless steel frame.

ABBRACCIO

Double bed with a large and comfortable headboard. The panels at the ends of the headboard can be tilted inward to create a sort of alcove, increasing the bed’s intimacy.

CLEVER BED COLLECTION PER MORFEUS

Morfeus has chosen Semprini as the artistic director of the company. His task was to transform the mattress into a design object, focusing on the aesthetics of the cover. The bed designs have an added function that reveals itself to the user with a surprising effect only at a later moment. For example, there is a bed with a foldable backrest for reading or a headboard that conceals bedside tables by folding the ends of the headboard.

ISABELL

Bed with a fluid and essential shape, where the form of the base is similar to the headboard.

HYDRA

Armchair made of plastic rope with an aesthetic reminiscent of 1950s bar seating. The design originates from a single curvature of a steel rod, creating both the seat and backrest with one continuous line.

MANTA

Manta glass coffee table by Roberto Semprini, designed in 1994. It’s organic shape is made from a single piece of glass curved smoothly downwards to form three legs that resemble a manta ray.

ALBATROS

The Albatros side table is inspired by the beak of the bird of the same name. It is a side table that sits next to the sofa and features a double shelf formed from the curvature of a single piece of square crystal.

MONDRIAN

The “MONDRIAN” kitchen has a strong graphic character thanks to its “cubist” lines and the choice of colors: white for the large monolithic volumes, and red and orange for the niches that punctuate the vertical surface. The focal point of the kitchen is the work island. Seemingly a monolithic cube divided by red and orange niches of various sizes, the island reveals its secrets and functions with the click of a remote control that activates the lateral sliding of the two segments of the worktop and the side supports.

The opening of the worktop reveals the sink and the cooking surface and makes it possible, with another touch of the remote control, to vertically extract the exhaust hood. Parallel to the work island is the wall of tall cabinets, whose facade is punctuated by red and orange niches of various sizes and shapes. The retractable doors ensure maximum freedom of movement even while accessing the compartments and the refrigerator column.

SOGNO

Sogno is a shower cabin inspired by the elegant lines of a leaf. The leaf shape, along with its veins, is reflected in the shower tray, a theme that dominates the entire structure and is also featured in the screen-printed decorations that embellish the methacrylate panel.

MEDUSA

The Medusa mirror is inspired by the eponymous painting by Caravaggio. Its symbolic meaning represents intellectual perversion. Medusa also embodies horror, the other side of Beauty that fascinates and repels, seduces and kills. It is a perfect synthesis of our conflicted relationship with the mirror.

L’ORIGINE DU MONDE

This mirror draws inspiration from the erotic component of Baroque art, including the sculptures of Gian Lorenzo Bernini, such as The Ecstasy of Saint Teresa. Another reference is Gustave Courbet’s work, The Origin of the World.

KIMANO COLLECTION

A pivoting mirror that upends the classic frame/mirror relationship. The frame is no longer around the edges of the mirror but is instead within it, framing the face. To see oneself in the Neobaroque frame means to give value to the face.

MIGLIORINO DESIGN COLLECTION

This capsule collection for Migliorino Design was created for the first edition of the “Baroque and Neobaroque” Festival, conceived and directed by Roberto Semprini. The festival showcases expressions of “Neobaroque” design, understood as a contemporary interpretation of the Baroque aesthetic that has also significantly marked the history of the Iblean region. Neobaroque has now become a stylistic hallmark of our time.

LAB 23 COLLECTION

Fluxus is the title of an urban furniture collection designed by Roberto Semprini and produced by LAB 23 for the Anello delle Piazze in Rimini. Fluxus consists of objects with linear and essential shapes, favoring curves over edges and smooth arcs over right angles. The objects have a fluid form, as if drawn without lifting the pencil from the paper. They are as linear as the waves of the Adriatic Sea and as fluid as objects shaped by the waves.

The collection is completed with the Rimini bike rack, which interprets the city’s name in a Pop art style. The products are made of steel with a Corten or Ferro Micaceo finish. The seat and backrest of the bench are made of Greenwood.

CARPET COLLECTION FOR WISSENBACH

CITY MAPS

The City Map collection is a tribute to cities around the world through a stylization of their profiles as maps. The landscapes of New York, Paris, and London reflect and reverberate on opposite sides of the rug. The distinctive layouts of historic cities like Venice and Palmanova stand out from the Pop designs of Dubai’s “Palm Island Sprigging.” The creation aims to produce a design that plays with the different textures of refined and precious materials such as wool and silk.

PRET A PORTER

This collection draws inspiration from the most recognizable fashion motifs, like Burberry, Pied de Poule, and others. A rug whose pattern is already embedded in everyone’s historical memory, like having a beautiful fashion piece that welcomes us home.

OUTDOOR

A collection inspired by the icons of Made in Italy, such as the pavements of St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice, the fleur-de-lis symbol of Florence, or the floral patterns of Gucci scarves.

ARABIC NIGHT

A collection that reinterprets the decorations of the Arab world through a stylization of the Western style. This project makes these historic designs more contemporary and streamlined.

NEO-BAROQUE WALLPAPER COLLECTION PER ZAMBAITI

When one thinks of the Baroque, it evokes an era lavish with frescoes, architecture, and decorations—both magnificent and tragic, like the earthquake that in 1792 destroyed Ragusa, Noto, and Modica, only for them to rise again more beautiful than before. “Neo-Baroque” is a wallpaper collection of great decorative impact, capable of conveying the symbols of the Baroque through a reinterpretation linked to contemporary aesthetics. Thus, the frescoes of Pietro da Cortona are reborn, as are the interiors of Baroque church domes, or the interiors of a noble residence with collapsed frescoes and dangerously swaying golden chandeliers on the walls.

OMBRELLONE JOINT

JOINT embodies the pinnacle of the combination between POGGESI’s thirty years of experience and the prestigious style signed by Architect Roberto Semprini.

JOINT is a perfect synthesis of style, cutting-edge technology, exclusive materials, and extraordinary craftsmanship.

The umbrella features an innovative opening and closing system that allows for easy operation with just a few movements.

Made of aluminum, the umbrella, once closed, stands perfectly vertical, minimizing space requirements.

Dimensions: 400 X 400 cm H 290 cm.

ROLLING

Like large pebbles smoothed by the flow of water, the steps of the Rolling spiral staircase spiral around the central axis. The glossy white color and the handrail, made of steel and not connected to the staircase, emphasize its ethereal character.

SOGNO D’ORIENTE

Table made of 12 mm laminated glass, with an oval shape and gold leaf decoration featuring a “Trilli Effect” (gold dust). The base is made of laser-cut shaped steel and coated in gold leaf.

IBLA

This table was custom-made for the Baroque & Neobaroque festival. Ibla is the name of the historic area in Ragusa where the most beautiful Baroque palaces are found. Ibla is an oval table in glass and metal, with a top featuring Baroque-inspired decorations.

HARA

Hara, which means energy in Japanese, is a table that is simultaneously extremely lightweight with its tubular legs resting on an oval mirrored steel base.
